Jump Crypto Unveils 1 Million Bug Bounty Initiative for Solanas Firedancer Validator Client

Jump Crypto has introduced a bug bounty program for Solana developers, offering up to $1 million in rewards for identifying vulnerabilities in the upcoming “Firedancer” independent validator client. The program, powered by Immunefi, will run for 42 days starting from July 10 to August 21, 2024. Firedancer is expected to improve the performance of the Solana network and outperform Google’s QUIC data transfer protocol. It is being developed using C and C++ programming languages to support high trading volumes. The bug bounty program will promptly investigate and address any bugs discovered in Firedancer v0.1 within 24 hours on weekdays.
