Google Cloud recently launched its Web3 portal, aimed at blockchain developers. The portal offers resources such as datasets and tutorials on creating non-fungible tokens (NFTs). However, the reception within the crypto community has been mixed. Some members expressed disappointment with the lack of support for Bitcoin and Lightning Network. On the other hand, some welcomed the launch and referred to it as a comprehensive resource. The Web3 portal provides access to various products and offers a learning program with tutorials on developing NFTs and securing digital assets. Google has been making progress in the Web3 industry, including allowing certain crypto products to be advertised on search engines. The preparations for the Web3 portal launch began last year when Google Cloud integrated its BigQuery data warehouse with MultiversX. Google also recently filed a lawsuit against individuals from China for using the Google Play store to deceive people with fake crypto investments. The company is seeking a permanent injunction and damages.
