Langalis, also famous as the “Bitcoin Sign Guy,” recently put up for auction the iconic Bitcoin sign that he had skilfully sketched on a vibrant yellow legal pad. The auction took place from April 18th to April 24th, with bidding ending precisely at 7 pm ET. After an intense round of bidding, the final offer for the sign stood at an astonishing 16 Bitcoin, equivalent to an approximate value of $1,027,150.72. This significant transaction was facilitated by Scarce City, an esteemed online marketplace specializing in Bitcoin merchandise and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Regrettably, the identity of the fortunate buyer remains undisclosed, leaving us all curious about their intentions for this remarkable piece of Bitcoin history.
