Exclusive: Brave Browser Founder Raises Concerns About AI and Google Search Algorithm

Eich highlighted the importance of maintaining user privacy and data integrity, especially in light of reports suggesting that Google obtains AI training data from questionable sources like Reddit.
In addition to concerns about data privacy, Eich also cautioned about the potential misuse of user data by Google’s AI systems. He pointed out that Google’s data retention policy for its Gemini AI raises red flags regarding user privacy and data security.
In contrast, Brave Browser ensures user privacy by not logging user data and employing strong encryption protocols to safeguard user information. Eich emphasized the importance of giving users control over their data and ensuring transparency in data handling practices.
